QUALEAD exists because the tools available to construction quality teams have never matched the reality of the job. We didn't design this from a product brief. We built it from the problems we couldn't solve with the tools that existed.

QUALEAD was built by a QA/QC professional and a software developer who have worked in construction and technology long enough to understand what each side actually needs.

Oğuz Can is a QA/QC Lead who builds software. He has managed quality systems on large-scale EPC and industrial construction projects under FIDIC-based contracts — running inspection workflows, closing NCRs under audit pressure, managing MAR cycles, and assembling handover documentation from projects that ran on spreadsheets and email threads.

QUALEAD is not a software idea. It is the system he needed on site and couldn't find. Every workflow, every status field, and every report format reflects a real decision made under real project conditions.

At QUALEAD, Özlem is responsible for the architecture that makes quality data trustworthy at scale. When a QA/QC Lead needs a report that holds up in an audit, Özlem is the reason it does.

Why we built QUALEAD

Because construction quality deserves better tools.

The problem isn't that construction teams don't care about quality. The problem is that the tools available — spreadsheets, shared drives, email threads — cannot sustain the traceability that real projects require.

NCRs get raised and forgotten. RFIs disappear into inbox threads. Material approvals stall with no visibility into who's holding them. When the auditor arrives, the quality team spends days assembling evidence that should have been one export.
